All born and raised in the coastal town and cultural capital of Norway that is Bergen, both Erlend Øye (Kings of Convenience, Whitest Boy Alive) and the lead duo of Kakkmaddafakka, Axemax & Pish, are all part of a pop wave that has travelled way beyond the Norwegian waters to places such as Mexico, Japan and Dakarta for the last two decades.

At Trevarefest 2023, we’ll have the pleasure of listening to Erlend interviewing the two Bergen brothers about the coming-of-age-story that is Kakkmaddafakka, the Bible of Joy and other adventures from around the globe!
