About
Trevarefest is a music festival run by a group of friends in Henningsvær.
Some years ago a group of friends on a spontaneous climbing holiday in Lofoten stumbled upon an old factory for sale in the tiny fishing village Henningsvær. The old carpentry and cod liver oil factory was called Trevarefabrikken. Blown away by the industrial details, the view towards the mountains of Lofoten rising straight from the sea and the inspiring history of the building, they bought the building without any plans.
Then after some years it became a natural meeting place for both locals and international travelers. The first festival was born in 2017 and the rest is history. The program is full of fun, danceable music, live talks, outdoor activities, late night DJ-sets, tasty food, yoga and more. We strive for a diverse and sustainable festival where everyone is welcome.
