Ea Othilde is a 20-year-old artist from Oslo and one of Norway’s most exciting new talents. She has gained critical acclaim for her EPs How I’d Like It to Fade (2021) and Mary, Aren’t You Tired? (2023), the latter earning her a Spellemann nomination in 2023. Known for her powerful live performances, she has appeared at major festivals including Øyafestivalen, Pstereo, and By:Larm, where she was also nominated for the prestigious “Årets Stjerneskudd.”

Her debut album, set for release in fall 2025 via Koke Plate, marks a bold evolution in sound. Drawing on heavier genres such as noise rock and shoegaze, the album blends complex structures with raw energy, positioning Ea Othilde as a distinctive voice in alternative music, with an intensity reminiscent of PJ Harvey’s iconic ’90s work.
