Volunteer Contract for Trevarefest 2024

This contract is binding between the volunteer and Trevarefest.

The volunteer is responsible for reading, familiarizing themselves with, and understanding this contract. The contract outlines the obligations of the volunteer and Trevarefest. It also serves as a consent form for the use of the volunteer’s personal data in the application process. Sensitive information like social security number etc. will be handled by the system deliverer (Arkon).

Trevarefest commits to:

– Provide the volunteer with a personal festival pass that the volunteer can use when not on duty.

– Offer thorough training in assigned tasks and a safe working environment.

– Provide a minimum of one meal per work shift.

– Provide the volunteer with a volunteer working t-shirt – this should only be worn when at work.

The volunteer commits to:

– Arrive at the specified time and location for scheduled shifts.

– Not leave the assigned post before the shift is over.

– Perform tasks according to the group leader’s requirements.

– Not be under the influence of alcohol or other substances while on duty.

– Not make statements to the press on behalf of the festival, but refer them to the festival manager.

– Follow Norwegian law and Trevarefests own guidelines.

– Report to your team leader asap if you are unable to work your planned shift due to health issues and provide a certified sick leave (sykemelding).

– Work 2 shifts during the festival or 3 shifts in advance/after the festival.

– Use a volunteer t-shirt when at work, not when off work/attending the festival.

– Only use the volunteer area when at work.

Breach and Termination of Agreement

If the volunteer fails to fulfill the obligations to Trevarefest, the festival has the right to cut the festival wristband and invoice the volunteer for 2 550 NOK (1 festival pass). In case of breach and inappropriate behavior, the volunteer risks exclusion from this year’s festival and future festivals.

Privacy

The volunteer hereby allows the collected personal information to be used as follows:

 

– Personal information will be used by volunteer coordinators during the application process and for administration during the event.

– Contact information will be shared with group leaders to schedule working hours and for communication during the festival.

– All information will be anonymized and used for internal reporting/evaluation after the festival.

– Personal information will not be shared with external partners.

– The volunteer has access to their data upon request and it will be deleted after two years unless the volunteer requests deletion earlier.

The contract is automatically signed when you submit the application form.
